Sunday 12th of May is Mother's Day: the day to put your mother, grandmother, stepmother, mother-in-law or other dearest woman in your life in the spotlight and thank her for everything she does! Need inspiration to spoil her well?

Start the day well

Start Mother's Day in Breda off right by taking your mother for a delicious breakfast at one of the many breakfast hotspots in the city. In Kannen en Kruiken is, for example, the place to be when it comes to the tastiest coffees and healthy breakfasts. You can sit snugly inside or on the terrace at the back. In Sint Janstraat, you'll find Sip First, where they have a passion for a nice cup of coffee, tea, and a delicious breakfast. They serve coffees from all over the world here, and you can eat the most delicious bowls or toast with scrambled eggs. It's nice to hang out inside, but you can also sit outside in the cosy street. Hidden in Nieuwstraat is Koffiebar Sowieso. It's a certainty that they serve the most delicious, mainly vegan, breakfasts here. As the name suggests, they are experts at making the very best coffees. The secret lies in the self-roasted coffee beans. There is a wide choice of breakfasts, all made exclusively with local products.
