What is Kitty Purr? Kitty Purr is a series of meetups with the aim of reintroducing social and visual poetry to adults in an inclusive way. Friendship books, such as the traditional 'Poesiealbum', have existed for centuries, but the poetry gradually disappears as we grow older. During the meetups, you reconnect with yourself and others through real visual poetry, writing, and drawing. Each meetup concludes with an in-depth workshop on a special theme with a guest artist. Create your own Purry pocket This series begins with a bookbinding workshop at the local graphic arts workshop 'Grafische werkplaats Raaf', where you meet for the first time and create your own version of a Poesie Album. Your own 'Purry Pocket'. This small book will be your poetic canvas to share and preserve all new inspiring perspectives with your (new) friends.Take your first step into social and visual poetry with this workshop.
